The role also involves delivering 3-4 training courses each year (alongside the Project Manager) to members of local churches, and then helping to assess individuals’ suitability for mentoring and process them as volunteers. As part of the team you will provide ongoing support and supervision to our 60+ volunteers, this will involve organising and delivering a number of events each year including additional training sessions and Celebration Meals.

You will also be needed to support any events that Sixty-One run, which are mostly focused on equipping the church community to better support ex-offenders.

You will be joining a small and friendly team (4 staff) and be based in our central Bristol office, as well as working in the prison and in the community. Excellent people skills, intuition, perseverance and problem solving are key qualities we will look for in this role as well as great presentation skills, a good attention to detail and ability to keep up-to-date records.
