Bristol Churches Winter Night Shelter 18/19

BWNS.jpg

Last winter, churches in Bristol once again opened their doors as part of the Bristol Churches Winter Night Shelter (BCWNS) project. Adopting the Housing Justice model for church-based shelters, a significant contribution was made to homeless work in Bristol. The intention is to open up churches in the same way this winter for a 12-week period from January to March 2019.

There are many ways that you may want to support BCWNS, ranging from signing up for the prayer update newsletter to signing up for a shift at a venue.

The provisional budget for 2018/19 is £34,324, which allows for running costs and investment in the long term sustainability of the project. BCWNS are looking for donations to help cover these costs and enable the project to continue.
